NFC SOUTH – 2016 – FALCONS WIN!

The Atlanta Falcons are this year’s winner of the NFC South Bud Light Good Sport Designated Driver Challenge, which is a competition between three of the NFC South teams: the Carolina Panthers, the Atlanta Falcons and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The winner of Bud Light Good Sport Designated Driver Challenge will be the NFL team with the most total points at the end of the 2016 regular season. Points are earned when fans pledge to be Good Sports – designated drivers – at NFL games and when fans show support for their favorite team’s responsibility efforts on Facebook.

In 2015, the participating NFC South teams had an impressive number of fans pledge to be designated drivers – 21,499 in total. The teams competing will consider the Bud Light Good Sport Designated Driver Challenge a success when even more fans pledge to be responsible in 2015.

The Bud Light Good Sport Designated Driver Challenge is proof, once again, that Responsibility Really Does Have Its Rewards!

Rivalry games are those games when a competing NFC South team hosts another competing NFC South team. Competing NFC South teams include the Atlanta Falcons, the Carolina Panthers and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

At these games, special promotions will be in place to encourage fans to pledge to be Bud Light Good Sport designated drivers for their friends and family that day. Each designated driver will help their favorite team earn points in the Bud Light Good Sport Designated Driver Challenge.

The winner of the Bud Light Good Sport Designated Driver Challenge will be the NFL team with the most total points at the end of the 2016 regular season. In addition to bragging rights, the winner will earn a pretty cool trophy and fans of all the teams will enjoy a safe and family-friendly experience at the stadium. The teams need help from their fans in order to earn points in the Bud Light Good Sport Designated Driver Challenge.

For every fan who makes a pledge to be a designated driver at the stadium during regular season home games, that team will score a touchdown and earn six points in the Designated Driver Challenge.

Teams can earn an extra point for each fan who likes or shares the Designated Driver Challenge posts on the teams’ Facebook pages, retweets or favorites tweets on Twitter and likes posts on Instagram. Extra points will be added to the average designated driver point total to determine each team’s total score. The team with the greatest total score wins!

Designated drivers must meet the following critera:

  • Be 21 years of age or older
  • Promise not to drink alcohol beverages at the game
  • Provide responsible sober transportation for their group

A fan may only pledge to be a designated driver once per game.
