The Bristol Motor Speedway Code of Conduct

Bristol Motor Speedway works to provide a fun, yet safe, environment for fans with the following policies:

  • Fans may bring in one 14-inch cooler, along with one carry-in bag that is not greater than 14-inches
  • All carry-in items will be searched before entering the Speedway grandstands.

To ensure that all fans have a safe and enjoyable visit to Bristol Motor Speedway and Bristol Dragway, the following items will not be permitted inside the gates:

  • Bags larger than 14x14x14
  • Beer balls, Beer Bongs, Funnels
  • Bicycles, Hover Boards, Roller Blades, Roller Skates, Segway, Skateboards
  • Camera with detachable lenses over 5″ (overall camera/lens combination cannot exceed 8″ in overall length)
  • Coolers larger than 14x14x14
  • Drones/Aircraft of any kind
  • Fires, Fireworks, Grills, Sky Lanterns
  • Folding chairs
  • Glass containers
  • Golf carts or ATV-type vehicles without proper permits
  • Helium balloons, beach balls
  • Illegal drugs
  • Laser pointers, Noisemakers, Horns
  • Pets – except service animals assisting the disabled
  • Radios without headsets
  • Scaffolds, platforms
  • Selfie sticks, tripods, monopods, Gopro
  • Smoking in the grandstands/suites; including the use of e-cigarettes and vapor cigarettes
  • Stadium seats wider than 17 inches or Stadium seats with arms
  • Sticks of any kind including but not limited to, Flag Poles, Brooms, etc.
  • Strollers
  • Umbrellas
  • Video Cameras
  • Wagons, Carts
  • Weapons of any description including guns, knives, ice picks, etc., regardless of permit.
  • Other items that may pose a safety hazard or diminish the enjoyment of an event by other patrons

Prohibited items that are discovered during security inspections at the Speedway entrances must either be returned to the owner’s vehicle or discarded. Unlawful items that are discovered during security inspections are subject to confiscation and the person in possession of those items is subject to arrest. Any prohibited item discovered inside the Speedway is subject to confiscation.
