Normalized Designated Driver Calculation |

We want every team to be on a level playing field in the RESPONSIBILITY CUP, so rather than using the raw number of designated driver signups, we will calculate a normalized number of signups per 20,000 fans using the following formula:  The league-wide average attendance for the 2014 season was approximately 20,000. Using this as a baseline, we will calculate a normalized number of designated driver signups each game that will take stadium size and ticket sales out of the equation. Let’s take a look at an example. Team X and Team Z are facing off in the RESPONSIBILITY CUP:
