Alcohol management and responsible service training at Bank of America Stadium is conducted in partnership with TEAM Coalition to certify staff in promoting safe consumption, ID verification, and intervention for impaired or underage guests.
Charlotte FC and Bank of America Stadium encourage responsible drinking. Fans are reminded to drink responsibly, with staff trained to deny service to intoxicated individuals or those attempting to bring outside alcohol. While a specific Designated Driver pledge program is not prominently detailed, the venue aligns with MLS/TEAM Coalition standards for fan safety and responsible behavior. Non-alcoholic options are available, and impaired guests may be denied entry or ejected.
Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte FC, and Major League Soccer are committed to a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable matchday experience. Irresponsible conduct will not be tolerated—unruly patrons are subject to ejection, arrest, and possible loss of ticket privileges.

Prohibited behaviors include (but are not limited to):

  • Intoxication or signs of alcohol/substance impairment resulting in irresponsible behavior.
  • Fighting, taunting, or actions that may harm/endanger others.
  • Abusive, vulgar, or offensive language/gestures (including discriminatory content based on race, ethnicity, gender, etc.).
  • Throwing objects of any kind (including cups, streamers).
  • Entering or attempting to enter restricted areas (field, etc.).
  • Threatening/abusive behavior toward guests, players, officials, or staff.
  • Possession/use of unauthorized pyrotechnics, fireworks, or smoke devices.
  • Failing to follow staff directions on policies, conduct, or emergencies.
  • Irresponsible use/consumption of alcohol (e.g., by minors, purchasing for minors).
  • Any behavior detracting from the matchday experience or safety.

In the Supporters Section, beverages must be poured into plastic cups (provided by ushers); throwing liquids/objects results in immediate ejection. MLS thanks fans for adhering to the code and creating a positive atmosphere.
